Finally some change. Moved our motor home to Goshen, a very picturesque town in north Indiana. Very cute town with every store you want on the outskirt of the historic downtown. I love this place. Parked on the fairground which hosts the 2nd largest county fair in America. It is also the site of a huge annual RV rally. There are over 20 RV manufacturer in a 30 mile radius. The fairground is run by the county and the full hook up sites are nicely inexpensive compared to the private run RV parks. A perfect place.
Trina had a little growth on her lips which had grown over the last 2 weeks and the start of an ear infection so we decided to take her to the vet this afternoon. I was concerned about the growth since she has also a lump on her belly.
We found on the net this very, very nice vet and after he checked her out found that of course the lump on the belly was a fat deposit and the thing on her lip though a type of tumor is not cancerous but common on dogs. He gave us some stuff to put on it and said that this type of growth had a tendency to go away after a few month or so. His only concern was her weight!!! I had her on a diet for 6 month and she lost 20 pounds but being in the RV or car for 3 week and not moving from the couch did it to her. So she needs to lose again 10 pounds. Of course David sneaking her fat from his steaks and chicken skin he doesn't want to eat didn't help. But I am confident that after we buy a farm here she will loose some weight. She absolutely loves the country and every time we stop she jumps out of the car and rolls in the grass and looks for a stick. When David walks up the properties she is right on his heels, real cute!
Tomorrow we will look at some of our prime picks form the net which all happen to be around this town which I love so much. I do like Indiana a lot better then Michigan. You can tell that Michigan is a lot more depressed. The roads are not as good as Indiana, the people are grumpy and some of the towns are really run down. Then you go across the state line and the towns her all seem very prosperous. I looooooooove the people in Indiana, they bend over for you and are just so nice and chatty. I can see myself living here especially around this town.
Will be here for about 2 more days and then move on to Ohio. Will park somewhere around Cleveland and then drive with the car up to Rochester NY for a couple of days to take care of some business. So Phil, hang in there, we WILL eventually see you. Probably in a week or 10 days. Will call yo when we get closer!
