November 4, 2009

First, thank you my single darling follower that you made it on my blog. Then thank you Phil and Bilal that you read and comment on my blog. At least I know that somebody is out there reading it. Though I like to write it anyway just to remember the trip and the houses.
We took it somewhat easy today, getting up a bit later and then do some laundry before leaving this RV park. Have I mentioned that we have just beautiful, beautiful weather. Sunshine every day with temps in the night around 45 and during the days around 65. Well I woke up with some rain tapping on our motor home just to stop when we walked over to the laundry. The rest of the day again warm and sunny and it should stay like this for the rest of the week. Checked also the weather in Chicago and also unusual warm with lows in the middle 40s and highs in the middle 60s! Knock on wood, but dang, aren't we lucky.
Pulled out around 11am and drove a few miles to look for a bank to notarize some papers for the escrow of our house. We walked in this bank and there was the manager lady who was a Notary. She spend about 20 min notarizing maybe 7 or 8 of our signatures on escrow papers. Then she put her stuff away and wished us good luck. When David asked her how much we owe her she looked a bit startled then told us:"It's free. David just stared at her. He is a public Notary and in San Diego one charges $ 10 per signature. That's Indiana my friends, I love it.
Went back on the road and arrived at our next RV park.
Tomorrow we are checking out north east of Indianapolis and the day after northwest of Indianapolis. Then on to Chicago to visit David's aunt Lois for a day or two.
