Cool Tavern
Got a phone call from our realtor asking us to come back to his office so we could do some more brainstorming. So had a nice breakfast with Phil (Royce had to go early to work) then we all piled into Phil's car to drive back to Defiance to meet up with the Realtor. The way brought us past our new home and Phil was just about speechless about it and that means something since he and David jabbered just about non stop since they saw each other the day before. David and I just fell in love with the place over again. At the realtor's office Phil and Trina hung around while David and I with the Realtor wrote a new and improved offer.
An hour and a half later we where back on the road heading to just outside Toledo where Phil bought a house about 18 month ago. He wanted to show it to us including all the work he did to renovate it. On the way there we had lunch in Defiance in this really, really cool Tavern with an old about 30 to 40 feet long 100 to 120 year old bar along one side. It was like stepping back in time. And oh the food was good. Will for sure be one of our favorite hang outs if we ever get our offer accepted.
On we went to Phil's new house and I can't believe how beautiful he renovated it. Royce of course did a lot of the cleaning part and made this house as pretty as can be. She later joined us and we all spend the night here.
David and I are looking forward to tomorrow, hopping that we would get an answer on our offer since we asked for it by Wednesday the 18th at 3pm.
Can hardly wait.
