Yeah, got a new follower, I am famous. Thanks Tanya! Phil, thanks for your comments. I understand that it is a hassle to have to get new email accounts to access different blogs or other programs.
Had only to appointments today. One was this beautiful old Victorian farm building. I was sure that this would be the one. But oh my, once we got inside it was again this renovated pieced together building. Again, there was a stair in a closet who was going upstairs but stopped at a door who wouldn't open. The realtor told us that there is a different stair to go up there which there was. But dang those people. They have no clue how to renovate an old house. They converted downstairs a large room into a master bedroom. In order to get a walk in closet they build a wall across the room 4 feet in front of the 3 windows. So now you had a dark room and when you opened the closet door you where in this small room with 3 large windows on the same wall having the sun shining on all your close hanging there. Crazy! Anyway we didn't like the house but the agent kept on going through all the rooms and upstairs and downstairs and around and around we went.
But then we went to the barn and man, this was the barn i was dreaming about. BIG, I mean B I G old wood burn with hay loft and old wood floors and old beams and...and...and! Just right for Michelle's wedding! Could we just buy the barn without the house???? Well we didn't buy it!
On we went to the next appointment where a German missionary couple lived. The moment she opened the door she started chatting in German telling me that they move back to Germany and she is hungry to talk German. Well so we chatted and looked at the house which was nice enough if the Hwy wouldn't have been about 30 yard away from the front door. So again a no-go.
Went home, ready to move on!
