Mostly spent the day unloading and lining cabinets. Those poor men started to run out of places to put boxes. We had the barn almost full, the garage and the sun room stuffed. Boxes, everywhere boxes. We couldn't put up any furniture because we still had the place painted, the living room wall torn out, a door punched through the wall from David's office to the sun room and all new wood floors replacing the carpets. There was carpet every where even in the master bath room. I have an aversion to carpet since David just doesn't take his shoes off in the house and Trina sheds hair every where. Just so much cleaner to have wood and tile floors. Later our friendly neighbor Bruce and his wife joined us for a dinner at a nearby food shack on an insider tip. Great food and great company. Bruce is so nice and helpful. Comes over every day to see if he can help and giving good advise for us city slickers. He is retired and I think really happy to have David as neighbor because he loves boating on the river and can hardly wait to get on the river this spring with David. His wife still works and i think the poor guy is just bored. So having another boating fan as neighbor makes his day.
While we were gone Michelle packed for her next day return trip to Germany. Sad to see her go though she must have been happy to go home to relax. Not much vacation for her on this trip. But at least she got to eat all the junk food she so craved!
You know I'm such a fan of documenting history and this is fabulous Maya and David. I will miss you guys not being so close but than a trip to the midwest would be fun too.

I still cannot believe that my California friends moved to Ohio...and so close by. I look forward to visiting more in the future. Hopefully, the few tools I have loaned you are proving their worth as labor savers, and body savers! I can't imagine such a snowy welcome, but I am sure you will adjust and endure. Welcome to Ohio.
