Ugly red wall with niches
Ugly dark bathroom reminding me of a cave...
....and ugly dark dining room belonging in a castle but not in a country home (that is of course just my humble opinion) some people thought this rather a classy houseThe moving van arrived early today and David and Michelle started to unload though we had some help hired for tomorrow. Ah, how wonderful to see our stuff arriving! Then we had a girl coming to give us a bid on the paint job which meant to paint the whole house because I just couldn't live with all those dark colors in the house. Michelle and I picked some cheery colors, a bright yellow for the guest hallway, guest room, kitchen, living room, master bathroom and my upstairs work shop. Then there was a crisp spring green for the laundry room, dining room, guest bathroom and library and a soft orange for David's office, entry hall and master bedroom. We also had a contractor give us a bid on totally redoing that ghastly red wall with the bright white niches. Yuck!
Later we went back to the DMV because Michelle really needed that drivers license before her returning to Germany in two days. She passed with flying colors and got her license right then and there. On we went to pick up our Church benches at the antique store. I had a hard time prying Michelle away from all that awesome good stuff. Then on we went to Loewe's to buy a washer and dryer since my great pair went with our house as part of the settlement. So got to get me a brand new pair.
I was exhausted by know but after a hearty dinner Michelle and David decided to go and see the movie Avatar since Michelle wanted to see it before her return to Germany.
I had it and dropped the two off at the movie theater to go home and have a nap, then returning in ice and snow to pick them up again.
